The former headquarters of Scottish Provident in Edinburgh is set to become a luxury hotel

The former headquarters of Scottish Provident in Edinburgh is set to become a luxury hotel after plans have been drawn up to carry out a £120 million refurbishment of the current building. The property on St Andrew Square in the city has been bought by Peveril Securities, the development arm of the construction company Bowmer & Kirkland. This will be the second high-status hotel to be planned for this area after planning application was made to convert the former head office of Scottish Life into a 103-bedroom hotel.
